Does this sound familiar?
You are an SLP, parent, or other educator working with an AAC user. You know how important their communication is and you are constantly trying to improve your skills. You are leaving interactions with the AAC user with questions:
Did I model the right words?
Was that best practice?
What could I have done differently?
How can I do this better?
If you are like many of the other’s I have worked with, you don’t really have anyone you can talk to about AAC that you trust and value their opinion. So you are stuck in a spiral of taking classes, searching social media, and trying your best!
I get it! AAC can be overwhelming and sometimes you just need some guidance to get through all the information. I will forever be grateful to my graduate school mentor because she helped me navigate and grow confidence with AAC in an easy to digest manner.
Let me let you in on a little secret, AAC mentorship is the most powerful tool for growing your AAC skills, confidence, and decision making skills.
But I know the reality is that so many of you are not able to access this type of mentorship because you are the only SLP/Parent/Educator learning AAC, you don’t know anyone else navigating AAC, you have taken courses that don’t offer the opportunity to talk after the course, and many other reasons.

What people are saying
“Working in a unique setting with complex communicators felt intimidating up until when I joined the AAC Support Network. This program has not only provided me with a wealth of knowledge, but also an increase in clinical confidence. The community that she has created is warm. welcoming, and insightful.
— Claire M. SLP
"Joining Lauren’s AAC Support Network has been a game-changer for me. Despite my 6+ years of experience as an SLP, Lauren’s mentorship has reminded me that there’s always more to learn. She’s incredibly knowledgeable about various devices and supporting gestalt language processors, making me more comfortable with tweaking certain aspects of my daily treatment approaches. I also appreciate how helpful it is when fellow SLPs ask questions about their own cases, as we get to learn from each other. With Lauren’s support, I feel at ease as I transition into my new role as an AAC evaluator for school districts. Thank you, Lauren, for generously sharing your wealth of knowledge at such an affordable price. The support is truly invaluable!"
— Niki, SLP
“I have been on the lookout for AAC support for quite some time. Discovering Lauren has been a real delight. After taking Lauren’s AAC course, I decided to join her AAC mentorship group. Lauren is always accessible through a dedicated app, ready to address any questions regarding our individual clients' requirements. Whenever I encounter challenges, I can rely on Lauren to offer solutions. She has guided me on various issues like selecting the right app for a client, details on motor planning, vocabulary choices, and grid size concerns. The AAC landscape can be complex, but having Lauren's support makes it much easier.”
— Alonna MS, CCC-SLP
“Thank you so much! I underestimated how helpful it is to bounce AAC questions off of other SLPs!”
— Molly, SLP
